Chat Line Operators

FFUP funds and maintains the LC Connections phone line to prisons. There are on average 10-15 calls per day. You would take down messages, any necessary notes, and the biggest need is to just listen. FFUP pays for phone upkeep and extra compensation is negotiable.

Pen-pals & Counselors

Penpals are the MOST important and needed. You must be able to provide consistency to some degree. Unfortunately, we cannot afford to pay for everyone's postage. However, we do offer a mail forwarding service if you do not wish to use your address and we can match you with someone if you prefer HERE.

Volunteers for legal project

FFUP is looking for volunteers with interest and/or a background in law to help prisoners learn the law. FFUP supplies guide books, stamped envelopes, case copies, etc. 

Tech Volunteers

FFUP needs volunteers with a web/tech background to help with site management and development.

Content Writers

FFUP needs people passionate about our mission who can help with promotion, content creation, creative design, and research.

DEStress Project Volunteers

This project gives items such as craft supplies, books, coloring books, puzzles, etc to inmates. FFUP needs volunteers to help with internet purchases through approved vendors. FFUP pays for everything purchased.
